Connect and use your calendar
Connect Google Calendar to Chiefy and your schedule comes along for the ride. Ask Chiefy can look up events, check when you’re free, and suggest meeting times, and Smart Drafts can factor your calendar into replies.
Calendar Integration links your Google Calendar to Chiefy so it can work with your schedule, not just your inbox. Once it’s connected, you can ask Chiefy what’s coming up, check your availability for a time range, and find open meeting slots — and Smart Drafts can use that calendar context when it writes a reply that touches scheduling.
Connect your calendar
Connecting takes one grant. Chiefy asks Google for permission to your calendar, and that permission is what powers every calendar feature below.
-
Open Integrations
Go to Settings → Integrations. You’ll see a card for Google Calendar alongside your connected mailbox.
-
Connect Google Calendar A
Select Connect on the Google Calendar card and approve the calendar permission in the Google window. The grant adds calendar access to your existing Google connection — it doesn’t change your mailbox permission.

You're set
Once the card shows Connected, calendar features are live. You can also connect from Ask Chiefy — if you ask a scheduling question before connecting, Chiefy shows a Connect Google Calendar prompt right in the chat.
Calendar Integration uses Google Calendar. It adds calendar access to the same Google connection Chiefy already uses — granting it doesn’t change how Chiefy reads or drafts your email.
What you can do with Ask Chiefy
With your calendar connected, Ask Chiefy can work directly with your schedule. Ask in plain language — Chiefy figures out the right time range and calendar for you.
- See what’s coming up. Ask Chiefy to list your events for a day, week, or any date range, or to search for a specific meeting.
- Check your availability. Ask whether you’re free across a time range. Chiefy reports your busy periods and the open slots that are left.
- Find a meeting slot. Tell Chiefy how long the meeting should be and it suggests times that fit. By default it looks for slots inside working hours of 9 AM to 5 PM, and you can give it a different window.
- Create, update, and delete events. Ask Chiefy to schedule a new event, reschedule or edit an existing one, or cancel it — including recurring events, where you can choose to change a single occurrence or the whole series.
Chiefy always shows you what it’s about to do before it changes your calendar, so you stay in control of every event.
Calendar context in Smart Drafts
When a reply touches scheduling, Smart Drafts can draw on your calendar to ground its answer. With Calendar Integration connected, Chiefy can check your upcoming events and availability while it drafts, so a reply about a meeting time reflects your real schedule instead of a guess.
This works in both modes of Smart Drafts — on demand, when you ask for a reply, and with Autodraft preparing replies as email arrives.
Disconnect your calendar
There isn’t a separate calendar disconnect button in Chiefy today. To stop Chiefy from using your calendar, revoke its access from your Google Account permissions page — find Chiefy in the list of apps with access to your account and remove it there.
Because Chiefy’s calendar access is part of the same Google connection that signs you in and reads your mailbox, revoking it through Google may also sign you out or pause mailbox access until you reconnect. Removing access never changes your calendar itself — your events stay exactly as they are in Google Calendar.
