Payments and invoices
Your Chiefy Pro subscription renews automatically through Stripe, and your payment details are stored securely there — never by Chiefy. Use the Manage Payment button in Settings to download invoices, update your card, or review your billing history.
Everything about your Pro plan — when it renews, what you paid, and the card behind it — lives in your billing settings and in the secure Stripe portal Chiefy opens for you. This article walks through where to find each of those and what to expect when a payment renews, fails, or is refunded.
Where billing lives
Open Settings → Subscription & Billing in the Chiefy app. There you’ll see your current plan, your subscription status, and your next payment date. That date is the day your current billing period ends and, for an active subscription, the day the next charge happens.

When your subscription renews
Monthly and yearly Pro subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period. The renewal happens on the date shown as your next payment in Settings → Subscription & Billing. Nothing is required from you — the saved payment method is charged for the next period under the same terms.
Want to stop future renewals? See Upgrade, downgrade, or cancel. Canceling stops the next charge but keeps your Pro access until the current period ends.
Your payment method
A valid payment method is required to start a Pro subscription — you’ll add it at checkout, and it’s saved securely by Stripe, our payment processor. Chiefy never stores or sees your full card details.
Tax is calculated automatically at checkout and on each renewal, so the exact amount you’re charged depends on your billing address and region.
View invoices and update your card
To download invoices or change the card on file, open the secure Stripe billing portal from inside Chiefy.
-
Open billing settings
Go to Settings → Subscription & Billing in the Chiefy app.
-
Open the billing portal
Choose Manage Payment. This opens your secure billing portal hosted by Stripe.
-
Manage your billing
In the portal you can download invoices, update your payment method, and review your full billing history. Changes you make there apply to your subscription right away.
The Manage Payment button appears for any active recurring subscription — monthly or yearly — including while a payment needs fixing. It’s hidden once a subscription is fully canceled, since there’s no longer a payment method to manage. Lifetime Pro has no Manage Payment button either (see below).
If a payment fails
If a renewal charge can’t go through, your subscription status changes to Past Due or Unpaid in Settings → Subscription & Billing. To fix it, open Manage Payment and update your card or complete the outstanding payment.
Depending on your region and payment method, the charge may be retried automatically before the status changes. If you need help recovering a failed payment, contact Chiefy support.
Lifetime Pro
Lifetime Pro is a one-time payment, not a subscription. There are no recurring charges, no renewals, and no ongoing invoices to manage — once it’s purchased, there’s nothing to update. You won’t see a Manage Payment button, because there’s no payment method to maintain.
Cancellation and refunds
Paid subscription fees are non-refundable, except where refunds are required by law. Canceling a subscription stops all future charges, but it does not refund the current billing period or any past payments — you keep Pro access through the end of the period you’ve already paid for.
The full terms, including how refund requests are considered, are in our Terms of Service.
